Southeastern Historical Keyboard Society. The Southeastern Historical Keyboard Society, founded in 1980, is a non-profit, regional organization committed to the promotion of interest in and the study of early keyboard instruments, principally harpsichord, clavichord, fortepiano, and organ prior to 1860, and the music intended for these instruments.
Midwestern Historical Keyboard Society. MWHKS is a regional (midwestern United States) non-profit organization comprised of members who love and promote early keyboard instruments and the music written for them. MHKS members include instrument builders, players, teachers, and scholars, as well as many who merely love the looks and sounds of these beautiful instruments. Benefits of membership include subscriptions to both the semi-annual Newsletter, and to the scholarly juried publication, Early Keyboard Journal, jointly produced with MWHKS sister organizations SEHKS (Southeastern Historical Keyboard Society) and WEKA (Western Early Keyboard Association).

National Music Museum ("Shrine to Music" in South Dakota) Founded in 1973 on the campus of The University of South Dakota in Vermillion, the National Music Museum & Center for Study of the History of Musical Instruments is one of the great institutions of its kind in the world. Its renowned collections, which include more than 10,000 American, European, and non-Western instruments from virtually all cultures and historical periods, are the most inclusive anywhere.
Center for the Promotion of Contemporary Composers. CPCC has a huge website which posts opportunities for composers and performers, catalogues of member's works, and other resources.
British Harpsichord Society. The British Harpsichord Society was created to promote the awareness, enjoyment, study, performance and ownership of harpsichords and related plucked keyboard instruments in Britain. It is intended to arrange meetings, talks and concerts to bring together people interested in harpsichords. Membership in the Society is free . The website has links to UK based performers, makers, collections, teachers, bibliographies and a range of other links.
