the harpsichord.
K2M looks to the millennium to dispel the perception of this instrument as limited and antiquated, and to update its image and appeal to composers, performers, and the broader musical public. Use the K2M website to find great new 20th century repertoire- our Listening Room has samples in Real Audio, and information about how to obtain scores. Our Library lists important sources on the history and repertoire of the harpsichord. Our Screening Room has some video tidbits showing the range of this extraordinary instrument.

The K2M website actively promotes the harpsichord through publications, video, and other advocacy programs. Among its features is a book, "If It's Not a Piano, What Is It?" by Dorothy S. Freeman, and an accompanying video which has been broadcast nationally on PBS. Both the book and video are available through this site and are recommended for school programs, special presentations, individual students, and interested amateurs.
